Hello,
I wanted to test windows vista virtualization. Running vista business 32bit.
So I launched cmd process under administrative user running in admin
approval mode (UAC on). Entered following commands:
cd c:\windows
echo some data>settings1.ini
And got:
access denied.
Checked C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore - and no files were
there.
So my process was not virtualized.
Why ?
In what circumstances processes are virtualized ?
How do I see virtualization in action - I need to understand that because
installer of my business application is virtualized.
thanks
Vilius
