Is there an email stuck in the Inbox? Try deleting the account,
restarting Windows Mail, and then re-create that mail account.

Gary VanderMolen said:It is normal for a POP account to remove mail from the server.
If you want both user accounts to download the same mail, go to
Tools, Accounts, select the account, Properties, Advanced, and
check the box for "Leave a copy of messages on server." Also
select one of the 'remove' options to prevent the server mailbox
from exceeding its quota.

Gary VanderMolen said:Did you make that setting change on both computers?
If so, can you access the account via webmail to ascertain whether
the messages are still on the server?
If this is a Gmail account, it may need special treatment.

Gary VanderMolen said:There are a few mail providers (including Gmail) who do not honor

I don't know why you are suddenly getting the 'invalid password'
error, unless you are running non-compatible security software
such as McAfee or Norton.
