I installed Vista and I like it and its features, but I need to uninstall it
and go back to my previous Xp Home Edition so I can do the things I was
planning to do this month. I want to uninstall it and keep my files and
settings and go back to my Xp Home Edition. My recovery portion of my HDD is
thier, but the F11 activation is gone, so I can not activate it. My video
card can't keep Vista stable and its sucking all of my spare RAM so I cant
play my games like I could. I will countinue to look into uninstalling it
myself with my current resources but I need help incase I don't find a
answer. Please post any help to my question. thank you

Hi,

If you installed Vista as an upgrade to or over your WinXP Home
installation, there is no going back without formatting and starting over. I
would suggest you backup your data files in preparation for this. Then
contact the system manufacturer and obtain their suggestion for invoking the
recovery partition prompt - they vary by manufacturer.
