Can anyone tell me if the Vista Trial DVD (6.0.584.16384) passed out at the
Launch can be activated with a purchased license after the trial period.

Thanks,

RichC593

Yes, you would need to purchase a "Full Version" retail license
for the Vista version you installed and then change the Product Key
to the new one.

With a full licence key, yes. It's just a case of changing the current
product key to the new one.

Richard has build 6.0.5841.16384. That isn't RTM.
RTM is build 6.0.6000.16386

Richard--

I saw that in the launch package, but I didn't see any place that said how
long the trial is--I figure 60-90 days. Did you install it and does it say
how long?
