Vista toolbars--does this work for anybody?

Hi all,

I like to have multiple toolbars on my system--one at the top containing the
"Desktop" and "Address" toolbars, and the usual taskbar at the bottom.

I can get the toolbars to display on Vista, but for some reason I can't drag
them off to the top of the screen. I can drag the whole taskbar to the top,
but that's not that I want--I want them working separately.

I know all about the Lock Taskbar option, I've been doing this for years on
XP. I just can't drag the toolbars on their own, whether I click within the
toolbar's client area or the chevron itself (I believe that's what MS calls
it).

Does this work for anybody? If so, did you have to do anything unusual?

(and no, I'm not trying to change the height of the taskbar either) :o)

Make a new folder on the DESKTOP, drag it where you want--it becomes a
toolbar. Right click it, add any existing toolbars that you want to it, then
close the "New Folder" toolbar--the rest of them stick. Apply options as
desired.
