Windows Vista Vista to XP downgrade Problem..

I am using HP Pavilion DV6000 and when I am trying to install putting the Bootable XP CD it is stopping in the middle and a Blue screen appears what I will have to do.. How will change the RAID settings in the BIOS that option is not there.. Please help me find a solution..

Vista will not let you to down grade back to XP, your only solution is to complete a full format to the hard drive and then trying to reinstall XP. But you would be better to install Windows 7 as that will also store all your old files on a file call Old files and you are able to access them. When I want to do a full format on my C drive I use a program called Bart PE which is a virtual OS.
