Vista Business installed

Create System Restore Points is set to the default
ie. 12:00AM daily
and On system startup.

The task bar clock shows Eurpoean central time using the 24hr display

On my system the Task Scheduler/Create System Restore Points, set to
run at 12:00AM, runs at midnight European time.

At midnight the computer is normaly powered down so no System Restore
points are created.

How can I set the Task Scheduler clock to my local time?

Also the Create System Restore Points doesn't run at system start up.

TIA

By setting your system clock to your local time.

DUH.

Click the date/clock in the tray.

"Change date and time settings"

OR...

Control Panel (Classic view) - Date and Time.

What does 12:00AM mean in 24 hour format, 0000 CET or 1200 CET ?
12:01AM would be 0001 CET.

Ron,
First, let's set your settings to show time in the English (United States) format.
Start | Control Panel | Regional and Language Options | Formats tab | Current format selection box | select English (United States)

To change the Time format:
In that same Formats tab | Customize this format... button

Set the time to suit your preference.

OK that was one thing, now you might need to change your Time Zone

Start | Control Panel | Date and Time | Change Time Zone button

Tom,

My understanding is that in the 24hrs format 12:00AM should be
CET 12:00.

In Task Schedule my computer with the 12:00AM start time runs at
midnight.

And 12:01AM is not correct.
12:01PM is the correct format.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
