Hi, will the Microsoft do the Speech Recognition in hungarian?
If they do, please share it in the download center or in the Windows Vista
Update system.

Thanks,
Varga Mihály from Hungary!

Jó napot, Mihály :)

Unfortunately there is no Hungarian, yet. See:
http://www.microsoft.com/enable/products/windowsvista/speech.aspx:
"Windows Speech Recognition is a new feature in Windows Vista ... Speech
Recognition is available in English (U.S.), English (U.K.), German
(Germany), French (France), Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Chinese
(Traditional), and Chinese (Simplified)."

Maybe if Microsoft get enough pressure from Hungarian users they might add
Hungarian to a future release. But their first priority will probably be
Italian, which is currently available in Dragon NaturallySpeaking, but not
Vista.

(Not even Dragon can do Hungarian; I don't know if other product are
available).

Sorry I didn't have better news for you :-(

Hi!
I am a programmer and a 3D artist. I would like to know if there is a
way, that I speak with Microsoft, get the Sourcecode of Vista Speech
Recognition software (in any .Net languages) and so me and my friends
would be glad to make a beta version or a final version of the Hungarian
Speech recognition in Windows Vista...:)

This is a peer-to-peer newsgroup. There's nobody from Microsoft here.

IMHO, I doubt you'll get MS to turn over their source code to you.

My guess is the your answer will be no, but you'll need to contact
Microsoft to find out for sure.

Call Microsoft Hungary in Budapest they can help you. They do have a direct connection to the campus. You can refer my name to them if you like. You probably can get their number easy enough and then ask for local 36 if my memory holds correctly
