Vista Sounds - Not

I am somewhat disappointed with the Vista sounds. I had read several articles
about all these resources MS was putting into the Vista sounds.
What? They are really no different than XP sounds, and some are even worse.

I was just expecting something a little more interesting, (or lively, rich, musical -
anything) ... tada, chimes, ding, etc. are all still there (yawn) and they are all a tad old.

Hello RJ,

Currently Vista offers *many* enhancements for Vista's Audio Features, never
before included within a Genuine Windows environment.

You don't really think that, do you? There are no other .wav files on the
DVD, and different sounds did appear on RTM.

Since the sounds referred to are branding items I suspect they may be
present but not in locations where they can be modified or changed.
Anything is possible.
