Vista security

I develop a program p2p program that works OK with any operating system but
Windows Vista. I tried to disable UAC and the firewall in the Vista PC but
still encounter communication problems(by the way, I use XP Virtual Machines
under the Vista and they communicate fine. Besides communication initiated
by the application in the Vista works fine).
Does anyone has any Idea?

Since we know zero about your P2P program, it's anyone's guess. My
guess: Faulty coding.
