Vista RC1 Download

Help! I have been trying to DL Vista RC1 and it keeps giving me an error
message. "You have received the maximum number of Product Keys available for
this program." The problem is, is that this is the first time that I have
made an attempt at RC1. I ordered the DVD but I kind of did not want to have
to wait 2 - 4 weeks to get it while all of the other kids on the block are
already playing with the new version.

I called the Vista Tech Support line. They were useless. Go figure.

I had the same problem. And while I do not know why it happens, I did find
a workaround.

I solved it by logging into one of my other Hotmail addresses FIRST and then
I headed over to the Vista download area.

Worked like a charm.

Thanks James..I'll give that a try tonight
 
Hi,

I've seen this happen when users have Zone Alarm installed, disabling it may
help (but don't forget to turn on the Windows Firewall if you don't have any
other means of protection).
