I upgraded a Vista Ultimate Beta that I was testing with Vista Ultimate RC-1,
activated the product using the product key from the Beta. I also need to
test Vista Business edition, however, the product key that I have will not
activate the Business edition. Please send me a valid product key.

The "Ultimate" version is exactly that - it has all the "Business" (both
business versions) attributes.

Yes I am aware that the Ultimate contains all of the Business attributes, but
I want to do due dillegence and test a clean copy of the Buisness attributes,
without all the "ultimate" bells and whistles.

Install RC1 WITHOUT typing a Prod-Key into the Box!

This lets you choose which edition you can install ( homebasic and premium-
starter-european N-ultimate-business)
They will run for 14 days without a key - that is enough time to see the
differences and try them all out.

The KEy from MS is only for Ultimate, and you wont get any other Keys to
activate other editions.

to make it short :

The versions are all on the DVD - but you get only a Key for one edition.
If you still want to - per version you have 14 days .
If you go : one partition per Vista, you can load all of them on your PC, if
your HD is big enough ;-)

Thanks Sascha, that's how I installed the Business version on a second
virtual instance. Didn't know that MS wasn't supplying product keys for any
other version other than Ultimate. I know that from a enterprise level view
we don't really want to look at Ultimate, and really want to look at the
Business version. Too bad MS is only giving us 14 days to do it. Talk about
alienating a market! Besides MS helpdesk phone support sent me to this
discussion group to post, which would then make MS Vista support send me the
key. Way to further miss lead! Don't exactly like the way this is trending.
