I am having a problem saving files on a network folder in Vista. I found a KB
article titled "Error message in Windows Vista when you try to rename a new
subfolder in a shared folder on the network: "The <SharedFolderName> folder
does not exist"
:" Here is the link

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/934160

This fixes the problem but disappears after every reboot. Does anyone have a
fix to this?

Thanks,

One of two things can reverse a registry setting you have successfully made.
Either you are going back to a previous copy of the registry on restart (last
known good config), or you are seeing a Group Policy being enforced on
startup. (GPEdit.msc)

I suppose some form of Registry Permissions bug could do it, but I haven't
seen any comments on that about Vista.
