Vista Password

Hi every Body. I really need help, Recently my Grandmother died, and she left me her PC, it is a Dell Vostro. The OS is Vista and there is a log-on Password, now i did try a few backdoors through Dos but to no avail. is there any way to disable this password or bypass it? Any help would be appreciated.

I would attempt to load another copy of vista into another folder on the laptops hard drive.I would then bootup this duplicate program and I would copy and paste my new user profile into the folder containing your grandmothers profile.(before you do this make sure you make a backup of your grandmothers profile).There will be information you may have to add to your new profile such as short cuts etc.I have never used vista and I could only assume that the profile is located in documents and settings.Any questions?
