Hi... I really really really need help on computer as well as mental issues!!!

Computer;-

I recently changed my logon password for my main account in Vista Home
Premium.
I have always prided my password security as I have it in a format that is
not relative to anything about me, it's just a mixture of letters and numbers
I was given by an old ISP and memorised them... However, I changed the
password the other night as I had given it to my girlfriend via email and
thought 'bad move' so changed it... but... I can't remember it... I have my
girlfriends account and a guest account but everything I need for work and
some downloads are on mine...
I have no way of getting the pw back (no back up made) I called Microsoft
support, they said they cnt help...
Is there anyway around this? the guest account and my girlfriends account
have no admin privildges...
I also can't boot from cd/dvd to run a password removal prgram...
Can anyone hlp?

Mental issues;-
I just need help. What a dummy.

Hi there..

Thanks for your response...

Unfortunately, I have already tried this option and it did not work, I
burned the image file and tried to boot it, however the laptop just boots
from HDD, I tried to amend the BIOS option to change the boot order but it
won't let me.
It says it needs to be done by the admin/supervisor (which is ME!!!) but I'm
using the same old password I always have for the BIOS screen...

I'm afraid nothing I have tried has worked...
I'm using Vista Home Premium / Acer 5582WXMi

Any other suggestions?

Kind regards

Check the manual that came with the laptop (or go to the Acer web site) and
look for instructions as to how to reset the BIOS or clear the BIOS
password. The proceedure for laptops is often different from that for
desktop machines.
