I've been looking to get a new notebook more than likely with have Vista on
it. I didn't know if Outlook 2003 would run on it and if so are there any
problems with it.
I really mostly only use Word and the Calendar feature.

Should I plunge and get the 2007 (expensive).
Thanks for any and all responses,

Carmen

Office 2003 will run fine on Vista (including Outlook 2003). Taking the
"plunge" is a personal decision that you must make for yourself.
Word/Excel/PowerPoint 2007 has a much different interface that some
people are finding difficult to get used to. Personally, I like it. You
can always try the trial version to find out for yourself without
spending any money (just time).

outlook 2003 will work just fine on Vista. Older versions of Outlook have
problems.

If you are only using the calendar, it might be worth using the Vista
calendar instead. Try it and see... its very similar to the outlook 2007
calendar.

What's the "Vista calendar"?

I'd like to add that Office 2007 is the best they ever made. So many things
in it that make life easier. Very happy with it.
