I instaled vista on my laptop, but when i boot, it just gives me a blue
screen, after saying that it doesn't have a network controller driver (intel
2200bg). I can boot it into safe mode for vista, but i don't know how to fix
the problem. any sugestions?

Thanks, skijon

Try going to the Device Manager (%SystemRoot%\system32\devmgmt.msc) and from
there uninstall the network adapter and then restart in normal mode. Once in
normal mode, run windows update if you can to see if there is a beta driver, or
updated driver available for the wireless chipset there. If not, try to just
reinstall the device.

Another tactic I've found useful is to get the MANUFACTURER's Windows XP
driver for a device. With my NVIDIA graphics card, that was the only way to
get its full functionality under Vista. The Vista driver didn't work.
