We are currently deploying Windows Vista Enterprise in our school. One
problem (of many!) in designing our user environment is the operation
of the Links folder in relation to the Navigation Pane in Explorer.
According to the documentation, a user can add a link to the Favorite
Links section by simply dragging a folder icon into this area. When we
try this we are finding that the entired contents of the target folder
is copied into the users "links" folder, i.e. it is creating a copy
rather than a shortcut!
We have tried removing all GPO and profile settings and we are still
getting the same effect.
Can anyone advise?
Kind Regards,
