Is it possable to make the narrator software read a complete web page text or
Word doc text? I've been playing with it for about an hour without success.
It reads toolbars just fine, but as for a web page's text or a Word doc, when
I press insert/F7, the command to read the page, it replies 'blank page'.
Suggestions? Is it limited such that it doesn't read docs or is it the end
user's limitations, LOL?
Thanks.

MSFT don't likes it if one recommands 3rd party apps,a but when feature sin
vista are simply missing, here I go :

try the latest Opera WebBrowser 9.xx - it' is free ( www.opera.com ) and it
has a builtin narrator (male english voice ) - reads whole webpages in a
good way.
Also Opera has gadgets better than Vista and a builtin torrent-client for
fast downloads. Opera has tabbed-browsing,toolbars,is skinnable and can
mimic the look of Internet Explorer 7, too, so that it fits into Vista
perfectly. Also builtin is a E-Mail-Client, so you don't need to have another
Mailprogram running - in short :
one great Program for all your Internet-needs.
Free and for Win 9x/2000/XP/Vista/Linux etc..

Windows Vista's IE is missing such a feature (speech) completely like all
other Windows before.
