Vista MM saved video will not play

I have a video that I have been working on for a couple of weeks. Have saved
it with a new name several times, but closed out last night and now today
when it is opened it will not play. The preview screen is black. The arrow
will not function to play. I can click on photos in the folders and they
will show up. I can pull the previous saved file and it will play, but for
some reason the latest file will not play. Any suggestions?

Apparently your latest file is corrupted.

Maybe you added a non-compatible
source file to it.

Unlike many users who are doomed when
their only saved project fails...you have some
previous saves to fall back on.
