When you start MCE and the initial menu comes up, I find it very annoying
to have to scroll horizontally and vertically through the maze in order to
find the desired item.
If using a mouse , first you need to scroll to the correct row of
selections, then click on the desired item (or scroll horizontally if it's
not visible), then clicking on it will center the item, then you have to
click on the item again to execute it. Seems overly redundant to me(just
like this sentence).
Sure, I have a remote with all the shortcut buttons, and it's great, but
when I'm at the keyboard I would like to go to "live tv" without all the
excessive scrolling and clicking.

Are there any ways to change the menu format? MCE 2005 was much easier to
navigate.

It seems that the MCE version in Vista is made primarily for remote use. No
bother to me, I have learned how to do everything with the remote. I don't
find it that dissicult to navigate, but that's just me.

Sorry you are having a problem. But it is good that you made the suggestion.
