Why in the world can't they solve this problem. There is nothing more
frustrating than having a new computer with a new OS and then the email
doesn't work. I to have disabled, uninstalled , etc virus protection to no
avail. My error is 0x800CCC0F and help appreciated.

Well, if that can be answered, I"m sure there are other questions that could
be answered as well like why did they rip apart a decent e-mail program just
to change the message stores and other such things.

I don't know what all you've done and won't ask. Have you considered blowing
away the current message stores and trying it again?

Delete the mail and news accounts.
You are certain there is nothing scanning incoming e-mail for spam, viruses,
foot odor or whatever?

Close WinMail and MOVE, not copy, the current message store folder to
another location.

Reboot.

Start WinMail back up, add one account and test it.

If that fails, you may also have to delete a few registry subkeys as well as
the above to totally blow it off so there is nothing it can revert back to
to screw it up.
