I Hate it. Why did they have to fix something that wasn't broken.
Question. I have my address book all set up, over 1400 names for my
husband's Navy association. When I tried to send an email to one of them,
the old, old, address came up. This address does not appear in my contacts
list.
However, I click on TO: and search for the name and the correct address
comes up. Strange. Any suggestions on how to figure out this one.
Suggestion: Bring back OE

have same problem. Called Microsoft but because Vista is pre-installed on my
NEW H/P machine they said to call H/P. Called H/P, they said it's a software
problem and want to charge $59.00 to attempt a fix. Still no luck

I also have the same problem. I purchased my computer from a different
company and they told me the same thing. I called and they suggested I call
Microsoft and they wanted to charge $59.00 as well. Unfortunately I cannot
install XP because I won't have any support, nor could I purchase XP when I
bought this!! XP was easy to learn on my daughter's computer while waiting
for this one. I hate Vista. Vista mail only auto-fills with the addresses I
use most often. Outlook Express auto-filled with ALL the addresses whether I
used them every day or once a year! Microsoft......FIX IT, PLEASE! It's a
nuisance and certainly not a time saver!!!! We shouldn't have to click on
"to" then scroll all the way through a zillion addresses to send one lousy
email. Sorry, but I'm so disappointed and have only had my computer for
about a month. I regret purchasing it. In the future it's Linux or a MAC
for me and, I might add, for many others I know.
Ditto Suggestion: Bring back OE and let us download it on your windows
update site, please?
