After nearly breaking a new computer, I took it home for one last try. It
seems that when you are sending email through a Corporate Version of Norton
that the internal filters block all access to the outbound server. When i
tried the mail at my home wireless server it worked fine. I have 3 emails all
with differnet services and they all 3 came up with out any problem I did
have to use the secure authentication on the outbound server and under the
advanced setting use 587 and check the authenticaton box. This just saved my
computer and sanity. If I can help please post your problem, but forget about
sending it through the corporate version, I am using the Norton Home version
without any problems. Good Luck.
