VISTA MAIL PROBLEM: messages not found

I cannot believe that between the dozens of MVP ain't nobody who can give an
answer, so I post it again.

hi everybody,
I have an problem with windows mail: carrying out one change
of the predefined folder for archive of windows mail some days ago (moving
it to another hard disk in order to save as much as possible in case of
crash;

-)),
the PC has shut down unexpectedly, therefore I found that windows mail
correctly showed index of the emails in all the folders, but in truth it
did not show approximately 50 % of the messages content, with the following
visualization message: "Message cannot be found The contents of this message
cannot be found. Windows Mail "

In truth opening the messages in format .eml in the backup folder I
succeeded to visualize the content, so the message is still there.....
therefore I have thought there could be a indexing problem..... what I can
make in order to re-match all this messages?

I am not clear what was done and what is happening. Are you finding these
messages in the old message store or the new one?
you might want to poet in
microsoft.public.it.windows.vista
