Someone asked in another group looking for an answer. Vista Mail can
import CSV so exporting the Address Book from TB as a CSV file will
work. But how would anyone suggest importing email from TB (which uses
the mbox format) into VM, ?

Thanks,

You may use a very simple and small programm called Mboxproxy. It works as
a simple POP3 server -> http://betoniarka5.webpark.pl/hcm/get.htm
It is in polish, so here is a small translation from readme.txt :)

1. Run mailer (Wndows Mail) and set up it to download mails from
localhost (127.0.0.1), using:
- user/pass: ANY (but can't be epmty)
- authorisation - none
- leave mails on server - no
2. Run MboxProxy.exe and
- 'Wybierz plik' -> select file (Thunderbirds Inbox, Sent, Outbox etc. You
can find those files in ThBd profile folder)
- 'Uruchom serwer' -> Run server. Click again to stop it.
3. Run Windows mail and press 'Get new mail' button.
4. You're done :)
