vista mail cannot use a contact button while visiting a website

The following message appears when trying to contact someone from their
website:

"Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not
properly installed"

Any suggestions?

Start | Default Programs
Make sure Window Mail (or whatever you want) has all three of its defaults.
