Vista logging me out

I just bought Windows Vista and after a couple hours on the net with no
activity Vista security logs me off the net. I want to stay connected to the
net all the time with no timeouts 24/7. Please help me.

Check your screensaver settings. Sounds like you have it set to require
you to log back on with the password after the screensaver has activated.

Is this a computer that has a direct connection to the modem and therefore
a direct connection to the Internet? If this is the case and the computer is
not behind a border device like a router, then that is a huge security risk
leaving a computer in that state on the Internet. I wouldn't even leave the
computer in that state even behind a router or FW appliance.
