Does this statement mean that a retail bought version of Home Premium cannot
be installed on Boot Camp?

USE WITH VIRTUALIZATION TECHNOLOGIES. You may not use the software installed
on the

licensed device within a virtual (or otherwise emulated) hardware system.

No, virtualization would me that you're running to OS's (both booted at the
same time) in a software environment. Boot Camp is just dual booting. Also,
the virtualization software restriction doesn't apply to the Ultimate
edition (maybe others too, I didn't read that carefully).

"No, virtualization would me that you're running to OS's"

to -> two -- Ooops.

Then why even include this clause? Why do they care how the OS, legit
purchased, runs, if only on the DEVICE (I HATE THAT DUMB WORD).

Guess they're saying you can only have one instance of the OS running at any
given point in time. If you have Vista running, and install another copy in
a VM, then you're running it in two instances or, for all intents and
purposes, on two computers simultaneously.
