Sarah..

Every time i have a pop-up come up, my computer beeps. when I right click to
delete something, my computer beeps. I'm driving my coworkers crazy, but the
stupid thing won't shut up. I've turned off every sound option I can find, I
don't have speakers attached, and still, it beeps at me. How can I make this
stop?

Change the default system sound to something else, like NONE...or open the
case and unplug the internal speaker

Windows by design will give all kinds of audio cues. You can control
what you hear if anything by going to Control Panel then Sounds.

Now click on the Sounds tab. Scroll through the list. Note some events
are preprogrammed to make certain sounds while others are not. You can
either change an event to none where you won't hear anything or to
hear something else.

For example scroll down to and highlight critical stop. The test
button should change color, click TEST to hear. Repeat until you find
what is generating the sounds you don't like.

BEEPrepared for anything with Vista!
Out of precisely one thousand billion one hundred and twenty seven and a
half options and features available - you must now locate the ONE that has
caused this!

Your right, we hate to have options and features... IDIOT

No need to be rude - just because I have a sense of humour and you do not!
Obviously my message was humourous.

Are you referring to the system beep that you can turn off by setting
HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Control Panel\Sound, value name "Beep" to "no"?
