What "update manager"?

Malke

on the vista program updates , then when update manager is opened it reflects
Internet explorer script error.
then it continues with that particular script error .

I am so sorry but you simply aren't being clear enough and/or providing
enough information for me to help you. There are no "vista program
updates". Microsoft Windows operating systems have a built-in Windows
Update. There is also Microsoft Update which handles both the operating
system and Office updates. A lot of OEMs (HP, Sony, Acer) have their own
update programs that come preinstalled on those sorts of machines. They may
have their own "update managers".

So I really don't know what you mean. Please review the information at these
links to see what details you need to include in your next post so you can
get the focused help you want. Please do not neglect to answer The First
Question of Troubleshooting: what changed between the time things worked
and the time they didn't?

I say that since the error appears to be with the Acer update manager you
contact Acer tech support.
