Vista internet connex problems - no solutions?

I have vista, home (cheapest) version and my internet connection
intermitently cuts out, then mysteriously goes on again, sometimes after an
hour, sometimes after several hours. sometimes this happens when i put the
computer into sleep mode, but not always. turning the machine off and on
sometimes helps.

I see that the same problem is described numerous times on this list - with
variations - but there is never any solution.

reading these is frustrating: it seems these problems exist on vista and it
looks like microsoft is not addressing them. i wish i could exchange my vista
for xp. does anybody from microsoft pay attention to these posts? or is it
just a marketing technique for people to blow off steam. i am not a satisfied
customer...

Is there some reason you're posting to a .Net programmer's NG about this?

You might want to try a MS.Public.Windows.Vista NG. :)

Microsoft.Public.Windows.Vista, anywhere from General, Security, Hardware,
Drivers, Setup and other such NG(s) in several different languages too that
you can post to.
