I had to reinstall Vista on a Dell PC.
Normally when I reinstall XP, i copy the i386 folder from the installation
CD to the C:\, so I will not need the CD should I install any windows
components.
If I want the same for Vista, what folder do I copy over to the C:\

Thanks,
Tom...

There is no need to do this with Vista as it lays
down a complete image when you install it.

IIRC this hasn't been required since Windows ME.

It wasn't "required" even then, but did sometimes come in handy.
