Anyone know where I can find a download for IE for Vista? Getting an Entry
Point Not Found error and have lost all IE functionality in Vista BETA2.

Your help is appreciated in advance.

Thanks.

Sorry, but currently there is none. As a gold partner with an MSDN
subscription, I would think you would be using one of the newer builds and
not Beta 2.

AFAIK, the newer builds are not on MSDN...I thought only the TechBeta and
other special partners had the interim builds...

Don't know if it is standard or not since this is the only place I have
worked so far that had a subscription, but we get the beta updates along with
our monthly set. Of course it could be one of those friends in very high
places things as well.

ha-ha, you know it's those friends in high places...

I was actually told that support and other "versions" are only availabel to
MS's Premier customers, when I asked MS what that meant and how do you become
one, I got an aloof and generic response. Perhaps I will look into our
subscription and or TechNet to see if there is a newer relase and or build
available, but at this point, I'd have to concur w/ Zapper, just not seeing
much out there...

Thanks again and let me know if you have any other ideas.

After initial success upgrading to Beta, I was able to go online & use IE
version 7 I believe. However after some Vista updates IE7 no longer
functions & Vista keeps saying IE is not responding & needs to be restarted.

I dont know how to get IE working again.

Did you install Java? There has been a fair amount of issues with Java 5
and IE7.

Hi,
Java 6 corrects lots of issues that were generated with Java 5
It works great with Vista; at least with my pc

yes, I should have thought of saying that as well, especially since i
experienced that first hand... twice. macromedia flash has also been finicky
as well and had to remove that as well. Though a recent installation of that
hasn't had any problems, so it may have been a fluke, or been corrected on
macromedias end.
