I'm the Sys Admin at a small company. One of our employees is going on
maternity leave and will be doing some work from home. Her home computer has
Vista Home Premium. I'm trying to install an app we have here that, when it
activates its license, drops a license file into the Windows directory. It
won't work without it. It's not part of the normal install. It askes for
the activation code on first use of the app.
How can I manually disable UAC or change permissions on the Windows
directory so that this app can place its file in the Windows directory?
Thanks,
Bill
