I have an existing Windows XP Pro wireless network, and just recently
purchased a Vista home Premium laptop. I added the lap top to the network and
all works well. Then I tried to add a printer to the laptop, it added, and
can be seen on the network. When I try to print a test page, it does not
print and the printer on the laptop shows error, but has no error code. Help

Since you left out the details of how you added the printer... did you
get the latest Vista drivers from the printer mftr.'s website and
install them on the Vista machine? Your error indicates incorrect drivers.

Yes, I did download the correct driver from the Canon website. I think I
need to make a virtual USB port, (not sure how to do it) There is really no
correct port listing on the Vista Laptop to make it print. Thanks for your
reply!
