Vista Home Premium. Mail not sent not enough memory

I tried to send an e-mail and attach a vidoe of only 550mb. I got an error
message " cannot send this e-mail not enough memory". Is there a fix for this?
 
"Only 550MB"? Email was never meant to transport attachments that large.
There are websites that allow you to upload and share files for free.
