Running Vista Ultimate for 3 months. In the last week, it's started dropping
my d: drive after it's been up and running for a while. To get it back, I
have to restart the computer. The d: drive is 4 drives (raid 5) on a silicon
image 3114 on board controller. The only installations I recall over the
past few days are the recent security updates.

Any ideas on what to look for?

By 'dropping' you mean Explorer doesn't show the drive at all? Not
entirely clear on what you mean by that. Does the controller show up
in Device Manager as working properly when this happens?
