What games are included with Vista and can u get other games after u
installed the operating system?

You'll get Shangai Solitaire, Purple Place (some crazy mind-trip game where
you make pies or something), Chess, New Solitaire, New FreeCell, and
Minesweeper.

There are no other games that come shipped with Vista, but other games from
different manufacturers will be available :o)

Undoubtely it will be one of those 'extras' you get after validation...

I think - and that is subject to a large and vast guesses - that MS will
offer 2 types of free stuff that aren't bundled with the OS:

Validated install - Get some basic free stuff
Ultimate - Get the whole lot.

More then likely this is subject to the ways of MS which are as vast and
bewildered as the rain forest in Brazil ;-) So don't pin me down on it...

With kind regards,
Aprazeth

For the sake of completeness,

Vista InkBall (when TabletPC features are enabled), Spider Solitaire,
Hearts, and you can freely download Carioca Rummy (if you have validated
copies of XP or Vista).

The games that are in Vista now, are finalised and there to stay. Whether
Windows Ultimate Extra's decides to throw in a validation-gift, that's up to
them but at the moment, the games are staying as they are :o)

Will pinball be included in Windows Vista? Pinball has been a classic and
included since the days of Windows NT.

It's never coming back I'm afraid - it's in an urn on Paul's shelf in his
office.

Will I be able to play games that require Direct X? Cause with previous
builds it kept on saying that Direct X was installed, but the games didn't
work.

Will I be able run to run games that require Direct X so that I can try out

I think Pinball was introduced in Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95

I don't really think they will bring it back, maybe it's got something
to do with the license agreement (it was created by Maxis I think).

But if they are, I would really hope they revamp the game with Vista
graphics like the other games did.

Is Microsoft still listening to its customers? On many blogs and forum you
read the wish to include Pinball. For many people it is a must have.

Microsoft please consider.
