I have Vista 5386 freezing on startup at 100%. I tried msconfig. and it
still freezes. Now I working in Windows XP on my Main Drive. Vista is
installed on a 2nd hard drive. So using it to test it.

Does it like freeze for a while, and then return to normal state? or just
completely freeze?

Hi,
It freezes totally. At 100%. I'm going to try one more thing, I'm going to
let it run awhile. If it doesnot work, Back to my main drive until the final
is released.

Hi Franklin,

Make sure you downloaded and installed the right Windows Vista Beta for
your computer. Comes in Vista 32-Bit and 64-Bit flavors. If you don't have a
64-bit Processor, then download the 32-bit version.

Also make sure that you meet the minimum requirements to run Windows
Vista.

Does any of the operating system load? Does it stop right after the
progress meter on the black screen with (c) 2006... ?

Yes. You can also right click on the Task Bar and select the TM
there.

I was in the TM today and saw the Svchost.exe running crazy. like 98% I have
around 15 svchost.exe running at once cpu 100% mem around half. Is there a
way to release it.
