When I click the Vista start button and choose Favorites so I can log onto
the web Vista is giving me a list of my IE7 bookmarks/favorites that I
haven't used in months as I have been primarily using Firefox lately. Is
there a way to get this list to show the more current Firefox list?

(This will also be posted to the Firefox group as it is apropos there also).

ok one way is this

in firefox go to manage bookmarks and export your bookmarks to a HTNL
file save it somewhere easy to find

open IE and go to file import and import from "file or address. this
should add your recent firefox bookmaks to your vista favourites

yo may want to edit the IE favourites to remove any un-needed old
entries

I do not see a manage bookmarks (only organize bookmarks) or export option.
I did not mention before that I am using FF3 if that makes a difference.
Under the File menu there is an import option but nothing about exporting.
I know it must be there someplace if only to backup your bookmarks.

Go to Organize Bookmards then look at the top of the page for Import
and Backup.

Backup is "export".

Thanks, it worked. It's a shame to have to update it manually each time
though.
