Vista file saving problem

hi,
i hav a strange problem, i have Vista business with sp1 installed, i cannot
save any of word / excel/ppt (off 2007) files or web files.
if i modify existing files, then i can save but cannot use "save as" to give
different name or location.
plz help..

What happens when you try? Any error message?
 
no error.
for off2007 files, no sign
for wed files, save-open, when i say save it just disserperers.

Where are you trying to save it? Sounds like it's saving in the wrong
directory. Do a Save As on a new document and make sure it is defaulting to
your C:\Users\your-user-account\Documents.

Or perhaps you moved the Documents folder and forgot to give us that
information.

it is nothing to do with the location.

it happen to all the applications (word / excel/ppt and web downloads)
problem is it is not allowing me to select the location (dat page wont come
me too choose)

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: If the problem is new, what changed
between the time things worked and the time they didn't?

The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the malware/virus
status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what programs (and
versions) did you use to determine this?

Found the solution.

This issue may occur if a Windows Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing
or is corrupted.

Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as
administrator.
type - sfc /scannow

Tkx for everyone who posted their ideas.
