vista email error message

I just bought new computers for myself and my wife and have the same problem
on both. I set up vista email with all the same settings for our aol server
that I had in outlook on our old computers. I can send emails, but when I do
I get an error message saying that vista can't copy emails from the outbox
folder to the sent items folder. The emails are delivered and they do show
up in the sent items tab of the AOL server folder but they are still in the
outbox tab of the Local Folders and do not show up in the Sent Items tab of
the Local Folders. How can I stop the error messages.
 
The error message said "Some of the messages in your Outbox Folder could not
be copied to your Sent Items Folder. Your message could not be uploaded to
the IMAP server. The server refused to accept it. Subject 'Test',
Account:'AOL Server', Server"'imap.aol.com',Protocol;IMAP,Server Response:
'Mailbox Sent Items cannot be appended to', Port;143, Secure(SSL): No, Error
