Microsoft DVD Maker won't recognize my dvd burner.

I'm able to play dvd's, burn dvd's with Nero and the system knows my drive
is a burner...but when I go into the dvd maker program there is no drive
listed on the drop down to burn too.

Anyone know of a fix for this??

Thanks!

The Drive isn't missing, only does not show in DVD Maker.

I believe I have the same problem as another guy did using an asus mobo.

Windows recognizes my eide as scsi. If I switch it over to the regular ide,
then it recognizes it.

Thanks!
This solved my problem with my ASUS P5B Deluxe, with the JMicron SATA/IDE
controller. Windows Vista was using the proper driver from ASUS for this
controller, changed it back to a 'Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller'
and the DVD burner works straight away.
