Vista driver for generic USB hub?

I have a generic Ritmo 4port USB hub that works fine on XP, but not on Vista.
Vista doesn't recognise it at all, and I can't find a driver for it on the
net!

This seems crazy because it's such a generic plug and play device.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have exactly the same problem and have been searching the net for days for
a driver too! took the hub back to retailer and they showed it to me working

make
it work! will get info from dealer and let you know.

This may be worth a shot:

Problems with USB memory sticks and other devices are not uncommon in Vista
and there is a fix
that appears to work for many (it worked for me).

Locate the file INFCACHE.1 on the PC. You'll find it in <OS
drive>\Windows\inf

Give yourself full control of INFCACHE.1 by right-clicking on it, then
Properties->Security->Edit to add your users group with full control.
Delete INFCACHE.1

Reboot your machine, then try the USB memory stick (or device). Hopefully,
Vista will
now find and install the needed driver.
