I recently installed Vista ultimate on my home computer. I connected it from
my office via remote desktop connection. Connection was okay. After I
disconnected, I can not log-on to my home computer locally as my keyboard and
mouse are still locked. I can still connect via remore desktop connection.

Your Keyboard and Mouse should not be locked even when there is an active RDT
session - you should always be able to log on locally and kill the RDT
session. It sounds like you have a problem if you are locked out. You can
"restart" the system from your rdt session or, if that's not available, just
power off/on locally (making sure there's a long enough gap after any disk
activity from your RDT session).

Thanks for the reply. I did turned off the computer and left it for five
minutes locally I also turned off the broadbad connection cable. But still I
was not able to log-on locally. I just revet back to Win Xp by using Norton
Ghost to previous state. I will install Vista Ultimate again and see if the
problem presist.
