Vista directx updates

Hi,

Do I need to still update directx in Windows Vista like I did in XP? Where do I find directx

also is directx 10 built in to vista? I think it is but I just wanted to dubble check.

DX 10 is 'built-in' to Vista ... you will not be given the choice of installing DX9/8/7/6/ whatsoever. Vista won't let you. :D

Updates are automatically installed, if you left auto-update on.

Vista doesn't actually have DX9 ... it emulates DX9 ... Don't ask for clarification, do some research. ;)

Be happy, Vista has the latetest DX compataility built-in ... :thumb:


[EDIT] open the 'globe' and type ... dxdiag ... press enter.
