Vista desktop trouble

hey, im not sure exactly what the name of it is, its the thing on the right
side of the screen of vista desktop, it has the google search box on the
bottom, then the slideshow box, then the news box, the clock, then the
weather. my problem is when i tried starting my computer up this time the
clock and the weather box were gone, any idea how to get them back? plz, any
help is appreciated

It is called the Sidebar. Gadgets which are objects that appear on the
Sidebar have a habit of changing their position or disappearing for no
apparant reason. I would try rebooting again. If still gone right
click in the Sidebar area, click on Add Gadgets and see if what is
missing is listing. My clock gadget constantly jumps around. I just
gave up trying to pin it in place. Who knows why it acts that way.
