Vista desktop to windows xp desktop

Hi and Merry Christmas! I have the workgroup set up and on the xp desktop it
sees the Vista shared folders but says it does not have permissions to acess
them and on the Vista pc it is set up but when trying to view the Xp pc it
cannot connect. It says to contact tect support to check on issues. Can
anyone help? Thank you. Obie

This is most frequently caused by a personal firewall, or other security
program.

I'd diagnose the problem, using logs from "browstat status", "ipconfig /all",
"net config server", and "net config workstation", from each computer. Read
this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions precisely (Download
browstat, and note how to run the Vista command window as an administrator!):
