Ever since Windows 95, I have hated the arrows on desktop shortcuts. When
PowerTools was developed and released, I had found a way to get rid of those
arrows. Since it worked in Win98, Win98SE and Windows 2000, I am hoping it
will work with Vista Business 32, hence my writing the group now to ask first
before I do something destructive to the OS by installing a Windows 95
PowerTool.

Has anyone received the secret of ridding one's desktop of those AWFUL
ARROWS that cover one corner of one's desktop icons? Please let me know.

The link Gordon provided in his post will work. But be advised it will
break the Games Explorer.

I don't have a problem with the shortcut arrows. Never have. They bother
you? Weird. Anyway they exist under my XP boot but I like a super clean
display under Vista and have no icons on the desktop. None. Still if an
arrow bothers you... well you have some problems.
